Chinese Dragon

A series of NFT with 888 portfolios for DM community

In August of 2022, I was asked by the DM community to create a series of NFTS with 888 portfolios. Because the logo of the DM community is a Chinese dragon, the traditional clothing, patterns, and colors, are carefully designed to match the temperament of the community. Therefore, the collection’s name is also "Chinese Dragon". The collection will eventually be released on the Jinli NFT Platform at a time to be determined.

The 888 portfolios are divided into three series: the Legend series with 30 portfolios (3%); the Rare series with 258 portfolios (29%); the Normal series with 600 portfolios (68%)

The character is set as a green hand who has just entered society. The design concepts are:

The character has large eyes, short horns, short hair, short teeth, and a thin body. These typical physical characteristics represent a young immature dragon;
For the Normal series and the Rare series, the light and bright theme colors highlight the naive and active personality of the community members who just entered the field of NFT: Although we have nothing for the moment, we are full of hope for the future "dragon" life.
Traditional, composed patterns, costumes, colors, and items in the Legend Series highlight the particularity and superior identity of the series.
The DM community logo will be added to the costumes and items to emphasize the exclusivity of the collection.

Worldview setting:

The metaverse is full of bizarre phenomena, such as the ebb and flow of super tsunamis that wash away one after another, causing countless cries and complaints.

At the same time, it's a supernatural planet, populated by creatures with incredible abilities.

There are a group of young dragons born in this fast-paced, materialistic world. They all share the same pursuit when they first enter society. They love metaverse travel, yearn for freedom and cherish justice.

They are dressed in different clothes, outwardly gentle but carrying different kung fu skills, often on the road to fight evil. The common idea that let them gradually come together...

2022年8月，我受DM社区邀请，为其打造一组由888个头像组成的NFT系列。因DM社区的LOGO是一个中国龙，遂根据传统服饰、纹样、与颜色，精心设计出与社区气质匹配的传统中国龙，作为其社区IP形象，同时也取名为“中国龙”。该系列最终将于锦鲤数藏平台发布，发售时间待定。

888个头像包含了3种系列：传说系列30张（3%）；稀有系列258张（29%）；普通系列600张（68%）

本次IP形象设定为初入社会的“小白”一枚。设计理念如下：

形象拥有较大的眼睛、比较短小的角和毛发、短小的牙齿、单薄的身材。通过这些较典型的身体特征，代表一个还未成熟的年轻龙；
对于普通系列和稀有系列，形象整体颜色将采用较为明快、鲜艳的颜色，来突显出社区成员刚进入数藏领域的懵懂天真、积极活泼的个性：虽然我们暂时一无所有，但是对未来“龙”生充满希望；
传说系列整体形象将采用更为传统、沉稳的图案以及服饰、颜色、配件。突出传说系列的特殊性和更优越的身份。
在服饰和道具中会加入DM社区的LOGO，强调该系列头像的专属性。

世界观设定：

元宇宙星球上，充满各种奇异古怪的现象，比如潮起潮落的超级海啸灾害冲刷一批又一批生灵，引发过无数的哀嚎与控诉。

同时，这是一个超自然星球，这里的生物都拥有难以想象的非凡能力。

有这么一群“小白”龙诞生在这个节奏飞快，物欲横流的世界，他们初入社会，都有着共同的追求，热爱元宇宙旅行，向往自由以及心怀正义。

他们身穿各异服饰，表面斯文却身怀不同的功夫绝技，常常会在旅途中惩奸除恶，正是共同的理念让他们一步步聚集于此……
